• taking an anamnesis
• determines the optical power of existing glasses
• distance and near vision acuity test
• determination of objective and subjective refraction
• binocular function test
• stereo vision test
• checking strabismus angles
• eye movement test
• eye pressure measurement
• biomicroscopic examination of the anterior parts of the eye
• ophthalmoscopy (through a narrow pupil)
• prescription for glasses / contact lenses
• consultation on vision correction options
• If necessary, a visit to an ophthalmologist is appointed.
